The Solution Shedd was founded by Stefanie Shedd in 2006. After spending over 15 years in investment banking and Big-5 consulting, she wanted to work with organizations trying to make a positive impact through entrepreneurial, cultural or charitable endeavours.
Stefanie holds a Masters in Development Economics from SOAS and has worked with many charities, either as a consultant or volunteer, including The Princes Trust, Refugee Council, the OASIS Trust, Save the Children Alliance and TechnoServe.
Some project highlights from the past few years include:
- Created a sector strategy for Mozambiquen pineapple growers to help them access the European market and thereby improve their livelihoods.
- Worked with a major museum developing an ambitious catering and retail strategy to deliver outstanding visitor services that mirrored its own world-renowned collections and boost its restriction-free capital.
- Assisted a global charity develop a 5-year business model to manage its diverse investments between funding countries and their wide-ranging international programmes aimed at helping children in poverty.
