Stefanie Shedd is a management consultant who helps clients grow their business through providing strategic, marketing and project expertise.

She focuses on small and medium-sized business, culture-related institutions and non-for-profits as she believes they have the entrepreneurial spirit and driving ambition to make a difference in their own unique way.

Her philosophy is to add value by working in partnership with clients, collaborate with the wider community to facilitate ideas, probe existing methodologies to find new ways forward, and always act with integrity.

She offers to be a trusted partner to bounce around ideas with, add a timely extra pair of hands and provide tools and courses - such as the Start-Up Clinic or Project Management 101.

The Solution Shedd was founded in 2001 and over the past 15 years Stefanie has moved seamlessly between global corporates, entrepreneurial start-ups, leading museums and international charities and consistently delivered value.

Each business is unique. It's not about cookie cutter solutions.

I don't have one-size fits all type of consultancy approach.  I listen to my clients first and find an approach that fits their needs.

Historically my work has largely revolved around Strategy Development, Market Research and Positioning, Financial Analysis, Operational Strategies and Project Management.  Some pieces of work have included:

  • Worked with a start-up undertake market research and assist with their business plan to ensure it had strong foundations

  • Repositioned the products of a fledging higher education technology company to successfully penetrate the competitive US market 

  • Created a ‘Best In Class’ framework for a professional service company's IT, Client Care, Finance, Compliance and Research teams to identify how they should be restructured and analysed the respective financial costs and benefits involved.

  • Created extensive financial models and scenarios for companies looking to raise capital and find investors.

  • Project managed an array of projects from £10K up to £3m and am Prince 2 certified.
